Your teeth straightening journey with ceramic braces
Step 1: Consultation
Every teeth straightening journey at Ashbourne Road Dental starts with a consultation. This important step allows us to understand how your smile has affected your lifestyle and whether Invisalign® is the most viable teeth straightening method for your case.
If this is the case, we will take digital scans with our iTero machine, which streamlines the planning process for our patients. We will also take X-rays and photographs to assess the condition of your jaw and oral soft tissues.
Step 2: Treatment planning
Your braces are made to fit in with your tooth shade and tooth and mouth measurements. They are custom-made by the professional dental technician we are partnered with.
Step 3: Fitting your brace
The brackets are bonded to each tooth, and the wire is weaved in between. Bonding each individual bracket to each tooth has conservative benefits for your enamel, which will be at a reduced risk of decalcification during treatment.

My first dentist appointment in 5 years. Always been a very nervous patient and the last dentist I saw made me feel so horrific about myself and I've been petrified since. Today was so totally different. Both staff in the room made me feel comfortable, I became upset as soon as they called my name and they sat me down with a glass of water, told me to forget about the appointment for a moment and had little chat to help calm me down. Not my usual dentist but I was away from home when I chipped my front tooth and wanted it fixed asap. I managed to get an emergency dentist appt at Ashbourne road dental at short notice hoping for a temporary solution until I was back home and could see my own dentist. Not only was I able to be seen but I actually had a high quality painless and permanent fix on the day at a very reasonable price. Fantastic service that exceeded all expectations from Dr Hasaan and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly too. I don't live in Derby so probably won't be back but I would recommend this practice to anyone that does :)

I was seen promptly and was dealt with kindness and courtesy. It was explained that esthetically my implants would look better if I had a graft onto the lower gum. I said I was not interested however as the lower teeth were not visible at any time, even when laughing, so the Dentist was happy to proceed on the basis that the implants would be visible, but only to me! I was then given an appointment for the proper teeth to be fitted after numerous photos were taken.
