As part of the referral management service, we ensure that patients are seen in the most appropriate healthcare setting for the type of care they require. The referral will be assessed by a clinician who will take the information your dentist provided into account to determine where the problem is located.
When you refer a patient to a specialist, you’re providing them with what you think is the best treatment for their particular condition based on what you see. Whilst the outcome of treatment can never be guaranteed, the most appropriate treatment is more likely to provide the patient with the most appropriate outcome.
